Strange Tourist is a culture and lifestyle newsletter and website that focuses on creative Thanet - that's the Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate trifecta, and London too.

While things are only just getting started, Strange Tourist connects seaside Kent communities who have one foot facing the capital.

It focuses on Thanet’s creative buzz, good life and fun stuff. It puts dates in calendars, offers destinations to explore, restaurants to try and suggests creative ways to discover something new or at least a little bit different. 

Beyond this, it tells tales of the people and institutions that make the Kent coast hum with creativity and culture.

It also peeks at London as a place that still lures us in with work, gigs, food and fun.
