Margate

No 42
Seafront hotel No 42 has two options for New Year’s Eve. If you want to be cosied up at home (or just out somewhere else) come midnight, the early evening option is £75 a head. By the time you’re back outside at 7.30pm, you’ll have a four course meal inside you. For £110 each, you can attend the later celebration, which gives you a five course menu, entertainment and something to toast the new year with at midnight. Book your choice.

Margate Arts Club
The Cockles & Muscles night is taking over Margate Arts Club for a New Queers Eve party. DJs Baby Pompom & Elizabeth, Stuart Saint, Buns Night Out and Gaëtan & Ni will spin tunes covering pop, disco, R&B, latin and more until 2am. There will also be performances through the night from Loyal Male, Johnny Goode, and Ash Mukherjee. Tickets £12

Where Else

Justine’s
If you want to spend the last hours of 2024 dancing to indie anthems, then look no further than Indie Amnesty’s NYE party at Justine’s. The DJs will be serving up the best indie, Britpop and rock n roll from 8pm until 3am. Tickets are £10

Ark
Live ceilidh band Rejigged will be tearing it up at Ark for The Cliftonville Ceilidh. No experience necessary, the band will guide you through the dance moves. It will be chaotic, especially if you've had a few Buckfast daiquiris at the bar. After party at the Albion Rooms for those who want to keep things going. All profits will go to Médecins sans Frontières and Margate's Mi Community Food bank. Tickets £18.

Olby’s
