Mergate Mermaid Parade, Saturday, June 1. In broad brushstrokes, there’s free kids facepainting at Guesthouse no.42 10am-12pm, the parade at 2pm before shows, performances, and activities at Margate Leisure, Bugsy and Faith in Strangers at 3pm, then the ball, at Faith in Strangers from 9pm.
Mergate Beach Clean, Sunday, June 2 at 2pm. Head to Margate Main Sands and meet at the blue and white beach hut opposite Arlington House.

Ramsgate Handmade and Vintage Fair is on Sunday, June 2. Running 11am-4pm, you can treat yourself to knick-knacks, preserves, jewellery, art, plants, and lovely things like that. Find it at Harbour Parade.
Bring your busted bike or electronics or your holey clothes to The Repair Cafe in Ramsgate. Running one Sunday a month at Radford House, the old fire engine hall, give your old broken junk new life by fixing it instead of chucking it and creating waste.
